Hi,
I just had my N-400 denied because I was on probation for a speeding ticket I received a few days before my naturalization interview. I did not know that this could cause a denial. I have since gone and pleaded guilty to the ticket, which removes me from probation. My choices now are:
1. File N-336 within 30 Days (this only happened three days ago, so I have a few weeks to do this).
2. File new N-400 altogether.
From my research it seems that the fees for both applications is almost the same. So the one thing that really matters to me now, is how long the process is for each. USCIS posts the processing times for N-400, I can see that they are about a 1 Yr. 3 Months for the Dallas Field Office. But my search online hasn't shown me any way of finding out how long N-336 appeals can take. Does anyone have experience with the appeal process, especially in the Dallas Field Office, and can give me a sense of how long it might take.
Thanks in advance!
