days spend out need help

Hi. I have one question about the days spend out of us
the date of Departure and arrival date is consider whole day spend in usa
for example. departure ate 01/01/2017 arrival date 02/01/2017 total days become 30
subtract Jan 01 and add 01 Feb coz I was here on Jan 01 and 01 Feb is this how v have calculate days spend out of us.
any one knows a accurate web link to calculate coz immihelp calculator shows different ways
we need exact days to write on application little confused ??

There are 31 days in January. Add February 1st, and that's 32

32 days Jan 31 and 1 Feb = 32 day, but Question is I am here Jan 01 and will be back on Feb 1 I have to subtract Jan 01 and Feb 1 while counting days spend out of us, because I am here on both days . I think total days 30 out spend out side ??
any one here for more clarification ....
Does any one know any online web link to calculate days ??

32 days, because you count January 1st and February 1st inclusive
