N400 processing time - Dallas, TX

The N400 processing time for Dallas Field Office is showing October 14, 2016 (as of today - 07march2018).

I live in Dallas, TX. My N400 application was accepted on March 2017 and biometrics was done on April 2017.

When can I expect my interview? How much notice will I get?

How long is the biometrics valid?

Anybody here in the same situation?

I am in the same boat. Filed N-400 in March 1st week of 2017. FP was done in April. Case has been in the queue for interview schedule since May.

I had my biometrics completed this week in Dallas. The status for completion moved up to 28 months of July 2020.
For Dallas this looks like a torture to get through the process.

Moving out of the state or city an option ?

I think you should hear from them very soon, as far as I have seen from three of my friends who filed in Dallas,Texas, their processing times were about a year or a little bit over a year

I applied in Dallas, TX. My application got accepted in March 2017, bio-metrics was done in April 2017 and my case is in line for an interview since July 2017 !!!.

I applied for my N400 back in Aug 2017 followed by biometrics and indeed got an interview in July 2018 which I attended but was sent back saying my file has not arrived for an interview - since then no updates.
anyone with similar issue? Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if the type of Green Card you have has any effect on the processing time for your N400? Been a resident since 2009 with an IR7 Green Card, my dad was born in the USA but was not residing here before I was born (reason for the IR7). I have a friend who is processing his naturalization and he has an E18 through his job; his wait time is estimated at 17.5 Months.
I'm hoping that mine won't take as long, planning on getting married soon (hopefully). Based on my girlfriend being foreign her process would be much easier if we get married after I become a citizen.
