NYC N-400 Oct.2017 Filer, Biometrics done, case tracker show "case received"

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum, and have a few questions for you knowledgeable veterans.

My N-400 was received on Oct.20th 2017 by USCIS. Form I-797C was then sent to me.

I was scheduled for Biometrics on Nov. 17th 2017 and completed it.

After almost 6 months, my case status tracker on the USCIS website still shows "Case Was Received".

There is no update whatsoever.

And here are my questions:

Have they received my biometrics? Some forum members posted that their biometrics were reflected in the tracker.

How soon should I expect an interview schedule? Could any other NYC filers share your experience?

Hi there!

I also filed in NYC with a lawyer. To tell you I have been very frustrated would be an understatement!
I couldn't proceed with my plans without a blue passport on hand.

Here's my timeline so far:

July 11, 2017 -- they received my application
August 11, 2017 -- biometrics at Brooklyn USCIS
August 29, 2017 -- they are scheduling me for an interview

Nothing since then! Still waiting!
