The background and security checks after the naturalization interview ?!!!

hello I just passed my interview today and the officer informed me that passed everything but a decision cannot be made now they are still waiting for the background check to be done , but I found in the USCIS website that ? The background and security checks apply to most applicants and must be conducted and completed before the applicant is scheduled for his or her naturalization interview ? .

Do not fret, if you have the online system set up to receive updates; look out for them. They do not update right away so pack your patience, I received news in 6 weeks. Best of luck to you.

Is that usual ? or there is something wrong in processing ? my history clean , no ticket , no criminal history ...etc , why they told the background check not complete ?

Sometimes one thing can be hung up in the process; it can happen. A few people in another state were called back because the fingerprint machine did not capture one of their prints correctly and this happened on the day of their Oath Ceremony. Once you know your history is clean, you have no cause to worry. Take care.

Today I recived 3 E-mails : case update notification , but all them empty when I open them ? just my name in the E-mail ?

What is that mean ?

Probably trouble with the system; I bet it’s your interview notice. You can always call them on Monday.
