Houston May 2018 Oath Ceremony

I had my interview and was approved for citizenship on March 29th and was told I should be scheduled for the May ceremony but it's still showing I am in line for a letter. Can anyone tell me when they got their letters for the May ceremony and the date they had their interview so I might have an idea how long it takes. Thanks

Hi skiduck. I am really glad that I found this post out of all forums I follow. I guess we are in a same boat. Me and my wife had our interview on March 27th. We have been approved and recommended. My status changed to in line for oath ceremony on April 5 and my wife's status changed to same 2 weeks after me. Her's then changed to oath ceremony letter mailed and she had her letter scheduled for May 16th. But for me as of today (May 9th) it still shows that I am in line for oath ceremony. I called and talked to L2 officer and also got an infopass (nightmare to get though). both said that everything is fine and I have to wait! I have seen many people in other forums such as **** **** that had their interview almost 3-4 weeks after me and had their letter for May 16.

I pass the test few days ago and I need to know more or less how long I have to wait for the cerimony

It really depends and honestly there is no general rule. Read my post below. Me and my wife had our interview on March 27th. She is scheduled for oath for May 16th. I am still in line for oath ceremony.

I am still waiting for an oath ceremony letter! It is strange that people who had their interviews & test after us got their letters for May 16th. Did you and your wife interview with the same person? Please post when you get your oath date and I will do the same. Thanks so much

Nothing here too. Me and my wife had interview with 2 different people and even my status changed to in line for oath ceremony 2 weeks before her. but nothing after that? what does your online status show now? in line for oath ceremony? and also when did it change to this status? As I said, mine changed on April 5th. have you managed to get any infopass or talk to L2 officer?

For sure I will update you and please you do the same. Problem is that nobody post after getting to the oath ceremony.

After less than 2 weeks my status is changed : online for oath ceremony....

Me and my wife had interview with 2 different people and even my status changed to in line for oath ceremony 2 weeks before her. but nothing after that? what does your online status show now? in line for oath ceremony? and also when did it change to this status? Oath scheduling started today. I know 2 people have their status changed
