Hello. I am ready to file N-400 Naturalization Application but I found out that my green card is missing. I flipped my apartment upside down while searching for it but I was not able to find it. The application requires a both side copy of the green card. I was able to find a scan of my green cards front side.
I called USCIS yesterday and was told that I need to file a police report and that it is recommended to file I-90 but I've also read that I-90 is not required.
These are the documents that I have and might help:
- Green card scan, front only (redesigned, with all the numbers on back side)
- Green card application approval (letter from USCIS regarding my approved application, with tracking#, receipt#, card#, etc.)
- Green card delivery proof (screenshot from USCIS website with the case status confirming delivery)
- Visa and entry stamp scan (visa with expired temporary I-551 and entry stamp)
- Marriage certificate
- Police report, if needed(?)
- I could also attach my SS card and Drivers License, would it help?
I was also advised by friend to get an infopass appointment and get a temporary stamp in my passport but they told me over the phone that it is not possible.
The Green card application approval letter has a note saying "Use this section to speed your application for an extension or replacement card".
