  • Aplying for my Citzenship

I have been married with an USC for 5 years. I?ve been a Green Card holder for almost 03 years. I am about to apply for my Citzenship. My question is: I went to visit my family abroad, I was gone for a month. After returning to USA, how long should I wait to starting to apply? Do I have to be in the country for at least 06 months and then apply, or I can apply before that? I left in December last year and came back to the USA in January 2018. I have spent the entire month abroad.
Any suggestions and advices are always welcomed.
    Thank you.

    It makes no difference

It does not matter when you apply, the fact you stayed a month out of the country has nothing to do with the application, not sure why you presumed it may.

If you had stayed out of the country for more than 6 months in a giving year, you would probably have some explaining to do, yet you would not have to wait to apply for citizenship.

You probably thought that being out of the country for a month subtracts from the time you have been in the country, it is not how it works, there is no subtracting.

The application is straight forward, read the rules and you will be fine.
