Hello everyone- I have been following this forum after I have submitted my N-400 application and I find this extremely helpful as a quick reference for any questions I may have. So THANK YOU! 
Here's my case below-
I am a paper filer (Texas Service Center, residing in NJ-Hudson County-Newark, NJ FO) for N-400 naturalization, and I had received a mailing notice for interview which was scheduled on a Saturday, June 9th 2018 at the Newark, NJ office. I received a subsequent mail prior to 2 weeks of interview, stating that the 'interview has been cancelled for unforeseen circumstances..'. I looked up the Newark Field Office hours, which says they are 'CLOSED' on Saturday.
I would really appreciate any kind of advise/experience sharing on-
1. whether the interview was descheduled because they are closed on Saturday, OR,
2. Has anybody appeared for a naturalization interview on a Saturday in 2018 @Newark FO.
Dates in order per USCIS website:
9/21/2017 - application received
10/20/2017 - case in line for interview
5/2/2018 - scheduled interview
6/9/2018 - Interview date (Saturday @Newark Field Office)
5/24/2018 - Interview 'Descheduled' notice in mail
5/24/2018 - Status change online in the website- 'Case in line for interview'
