Online Application process for US Citizenship

I am trying to apply for US ciitizenship, and have downloaded N-400 form online and filled the info manually and was planning to post it. But i see that there is option on online filing in https://www.uscis.gov/file-online/log-online-filing. Can someone please tell me what is the latest preferred process. Do i continue filling downloaded forum and post along with necessary documents or create account online and try to file online including online payment of fees.Also do we type as "N/A" for fields like middle name which is not applicable if we dont have one?What is the next step after filing?

Hi,
I have read many posts and seen in my case as well, online filing is moving faster. You can file online, make payment online. As soon as you submit a confirmation email comes that they have received the document and thereon the updated status can be seen online for any activity on your application. Once you submit, wait for the updation on the bio metrics date. Hope it helps! All the best!
