Citizenship for Cuban

hi,

I'm lost about applying for my wife and I citizenship.
She is Cuban and I'm Brazilian. We got married in 2016 and applied for our GC together.
We were approved on the spot 12/2017.

Our GC came dated from 04/2014 (data that she came to the USA).

We talked to two paralegal:
1 said we already can apply because our GC has more than 3 years.
the other paralegal said we need to wait until January 2019 to apply.

Can someone help me?
