Medicaid will effect my interview ???

Hi, guys it?s my first tine writing in this forum but I been reading it for a while , I been living here for almost 11 years and filed my application December 21 if last year (2017) after long wait I will have my interview appointment September 14th .
Today I woke up with the news that trump administration making proposal to have new law if applicant for green card or citizenship used any benefits like Obama care or cash programs etc will be harder to get citizenship. My appointment in 5 weeks and if the president sign the new law in the coming weeks then what will happen ? I made a mistake and had Medicaid when I couldn?t get insurance and I needed to go to the hospital , I?ve never had any other benefits and been paying my taxes . Reading about the new scared me . Do you think it will be effective immediately? Please share your thoughts thanks .

i have same concern like yours, we don't know what will happen. But news said it's still a proposa , so i think you would be fine, but our cases are still waiting for interview, could be harder for us.
If they really question you about medicaid, i believe we should tell them we didn't take the benifit on purpose, we were sick and if we didn't get the medical treatment that could be serious consequence, but now we are working hard, we are paying more tax, the policy made us to join the obamacare and we paid the hightest premium(or we paid premium) like regular medical insurance, no more public benifits.

if you have any feedback from interview ,please tell us. if anybody has any thoughts please share. this plan could affect all of us.

What happened to your cases? Did you go for interview? how did you approach with the medicaid public assistance Qs from IO?
I have also previously used medicaid and subsidized obamacare during pregnancy and after delivery but have terminated now as my financial status is more stable.
How do i approach IO during interview.
Please share your experiences.
