  • Naturalization interview scheduled too early

I submitted my N400 in May, 2018 and had my biometrics done in June. Today I received a notification that my interview is scheduled for September 16th, 2018 which is 4 months from date of filling. I was anticipating to wait at least 8 months to hear anything back. Is there any reason for concern?

I mean it technically could be a system error, but honestly you could also just be in a state that has the man power to push things through quicker. I wouldn't worry about it just be happy you got it so quick! Best of Luck

I agree with krypton, sometimes it just happens. My entire AOS process took 3 months from sending the paperwork to receiving the GC, it was very quick, but I got lucky and I am also in a state that's less dense than others with these cases.

You are probably just a lucky one, I wouldn't worry.

This is normal depending on your state. I have relative in MA who got an interview within 3 months. Enjoy!! that is the beauty of this world. Some people want the interview so fast but they would not get it some people does not even check the time and they get it so soon. some for us are still waiting for our date.

Lol, I have seen people who had their interview scheduled in 15 days after their biometrics. Earlier it used to take just 2-3 months for people even in populated urban areas to get through the whole process!

Ok, I will just ask directly and not just hint at it. What's your field office?
