We have shortened our last names (sounds different) during citizenship. Now that Oath is over and have 1 child who was not born here that automatically becomes citizen. We were asked to file N600? form for his future use for colleges. We can apply for his passport now I think with our naturalization certificates. How do we do this? Apply for his last name change to match ours first in a local court and then take those docs (GC, court order, our certificates?) to passport and N600 or apply along with N600?
