I am filing form N600K for my children to have their U.S. citizenship recognized. As part of this process I need to prove physical presence in the U.S. (for either the parent or grandparent of the child) for a period of 5 years, 2 of which must be after the age of 14. Since I don't meet this requirement, we are covering it through my mother. As evidence we currently have copies of her school transcripts - Kindergarten through High School, and a Social Security Administration Earnings Statement, detailing employer information.
Is this enough evidence to support the requirement of physical presence in the United States?
Additionally, when I was born my mother registered me at the U.S. Embassy, filing a Report of Birth Abroad. In this report, she demonstrated physical presence in the U.S. for 10 years, 5 of which were after the age of 14. Can the Report of Birth Abroad itself be used as evidence of physical presence, if it shows the dates used to file the report?
Thank you for your support!
