  • Citizenship Interview scheduled for today cancelled at the San Antonio USCIS office

We were scheduled for our citizenship interview today at the San Antonio USCIS office. On getting there at the appointment time, we were told at the entrance that the building is going to be short down because of treat of bio-hazard. They then asked everyone who was already inside to proceed into the Ceremony hall where we were addressed by one of the staff.
She apologized for the inconvenience and told us that they had to shot down the building until it is declared safe. They also handed us a notice (See attached) to that effect.
Did anyone have this same experience?

What a bummer! You were very unlucky! I hope your next appointment will not be canceled and that you pass the interview with ease!! Good luck!!

This happened to a couple of my students. The one with the earlier appointment was able to get her interview two hours late. The other one after was cancelled. This was for the San Bernardino office in California.
Apparently, the computer system had problems.

We have now received a new interview date for next month. Hoping it goes fine this time.
