I'm trying to fill out questions as a petitioner and I'm not sure how to answer parts of them.
1) I'm being asked for my citizenship number. I was born in the United States, as were my parents, and their parents before them, etc. To the best of my knowledge, this question is only relevant for naturalized citizens, but it doesn't seem to be an optional field. Is there a way for a natural born citizen to get a citizenship number?
2) I'm being asked where my family is originally from. Since my family lived in the United States for many generations, my ancestors came from a variety of places and I'm not sure of all of them because we have been here too long. Is "mut" a valid answer? Is "American" a valid answer?
