  • N-400 Orlando, FL

Got my citizenship this week at USCIS center in Orlando, FL. End of an 11 year journey.

    I-140 priority date: 27 Jul 2007

    Green Card: 01 Nov 2011

    N-400 application: Mar 23 2018
    Biometrics: Apr 19, 2018
    Interview scheduled: Oct 23, 2018
    Interview date: Dec 06, 2018
    Oath Ceremony: Dec 11, 2018

Interview was smooth except for technical difficulty with the ipad monitor that i was supposed to read documents on and sign. Immigration officer was very respectful, cooperative and apologetic for the technical issue. Went over application with me and that was it. Offered oath ceremony the very next day, but apparently that event was full so gave me the next available day in the next week.
My wife had her interview and got her citizenship the same dates as mine.

Good luck to all who are in queue.

I signed up for an account here just to be able to see what other's experiences have been regarding the N-400 process in Orlando and lo and behold this is the first thread that pops up. Thank you! This gives me a little hope. I applied online and my biometrics appointment was scheduled pretty quickly in my opinion but now everything seems to be in limbo and I am just waiting...... waiting...... waiting...... Here's my timeline.

    Submitted application online: 05/07/2018
Received notice "We scheduled your biometrics appointment": 05/12/2018
    Biometrics appointment: 05/30/2018
Received notice "We reviewed your biometrics. We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your application.": 05/30/2018

When I sign in to myuscis.gov account, it says estimated case completion time June 2019 (6 months). I was wondering if this is standard for Orlando, it seems to be such a long wait.

ThinkPad888, It took 7 months for me to get interview letter. It might be round the corner for your case. But again it all depends on time taken for your background check and verification done by the agencies. Good luck with your N-400 process.
