Alias Name in N400
Hi there, my last name in India is just an initial in all the documents including marriage certificate. eg. it is written as "A.Barry" ( not my real name ). But my documents in USA has it spelled fully: Barry Apple.
In the alias section I wrote "A.Barry" as an alias and the application is already submitted. Is this OK ? Did anyone do this and if so, did it add to the processing time as a result ? I heard from someone that this might trigger a name check.
Any info would be helpful.
