My naturalization application ETA was changed today!!
Hi,
I have applied for naturalization on 09/30/2017 and did my fingerprints on 10/24/2017 and ever since my case was never updated. I have many friends that applied after me or around same time and they all got their passports by now. I applied to Dallas, Texas office. My estimated time on website always showed November 2019, however today it was changed to the following and I attached a screenshot of it:
We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time
I have done four infoPass appointments and last one was two weeks ago, they didn't give me any updates, they said you are going through stages of background check! What should I do or should I call any place for follow up?
It really worries me that I'm the only one among my friends that taking this long! Please help.
