Advice Requested - Filed for N400 on Oct 14, 2018. Should I renew my GC

I appreciate your advice.

Filed N400 on Oct 14, 2018 in CA.
Finger prints done and reviewed in Nov 2018
No other updates since then. My GC is expiring in Nov 2019. Estimated completion show as Nov 2019.
I do not want to have any issues with employment. Do I need to renew my Green Card? Is there any issue with our status if my green card expires before my citizenship application is processed. I see the wait times for GC renewal is 6 months.

Of course, I wouldn't want to given the expiration date and the interview date are so close, but should you?
I don't know. If I were you, I would call the closest immigration office and speak to a community immigration officer. Have you checked the U.S.C.I.S. website?
