citizenship interview over - waiting for oath
Hello
Citizenship interview for me and one of my friends happened in May in Atlanta. We were given time for Oath on same day. Officer called us before oath ceremony and told that some papers are in other files and they must wait before closing the case and delivering us an oath. We have been waiting for last 6 weeks but have no further updates. We heard something similar happening to three other people. USCIS phone number simply says that "processing time for such type of cases is 750 to 999 days"
Can someone please tell us what is going on and where to reach for further information?
