  • Received I797C Receipt with Exceptions

    Hello,

    Applied N400 on July 7th 2006
    Received Date July 10th 2006
    Notice Date July 17th 2006

The receipt says "Receipt with Exception"

The exceptions are: Missing Evidence - your application was missing evidence(s) that you will need to provide at the time of your naturalization interview. You will be notified under separate notice of the necessary evidence(s) that you will be required to bring to your interview. Do not submit any evidence(s) by mail.

Did any anyone recieve this kind of exception receipt, if so, what are they talking about. My case is normal except for the traffic violations.

    Thanks for your help.

Did you have a divorce or something ?

I know some1 who has been married twice and was asked for RFE to bring during citizenship interview. Wondering if you have the same situation.

I got one just like it. From what I have learned nearly everyone does. The "missing evidence" is probably evidence of English Langquage ability and a lnowledge of US History. These are things nearly everyone must provide at the interview itself.

I got the same message 'missing evidence' but my wife's did not have anything like that. I am assuming that it is about selective service registration or a speeding ticket I got and mentined on it.

My husband got the same thing too and he had a traffic violation but in our interview letter they didn't ask for any additional evidence nor in the interview. So, I feel they just write it just to be safe. Don't worry.
