Fast Fingerprint notice but.....

Immihelp:

I received the FP appointment for July 28th; Notice date of July 19th; Applied on July 7th;

I will be out of town on that date for an important training. Also, the letter says I can come in for FP on any Wednesday following July 28th as long as it is before Oct 10th 2006. Obviously I should not worry and go next Wed 8/2 for FP; but, is there a risk they will turn me back; Did anyone had similar situation? May be I am paranoid but want to make right decision.

If you cant make it on the date...you really are allowed to go on any Wednesday

I called the USCIS and they said any Wednesday until Oct 10th is fine. I will let this forum know the outcome this Wednesday.

Update - Fingerprinting date reschedule

Yesterday Aug 2nd, I went for FP and was in at 9:30 AM and out at 9:50 AM....No problems. So, if your notice says you can come in any Wednesday before certain date, it means as it is written. Don't be paranoid.....

BTW, the staff was very courteous and efficient; they even gave me a customer feedback form to fill out that we can write how the service was and what can be improved. They updated me on the next steps and such. Very helpful.
