  • Texas Service Ctr- Time line

    Hi:

Any information regarding how long it is taking for TSC to send out the interview letter after the finger printing is completed?.

My FP was done on July 15, 06. Is there anyway we can check regarding the status?

    Thanks in advance

    Timeline for Texas

    Hi Maverick,

Please see my timeline that I posted @ http://immihelp.com/tracker/citizenship.do

I also have a post on how my process went @ http://immihelp.com/forum/showthread...5287#post45287

I know at least 5 cases where the timeline is pretty much consistent from the application - finger printing - interview. It was almost the same, about 3 months in all. However the oath after the interview is different. For us in Atlanta, we got a choice to take the oath the same day, but in Dallas the oath is on a set day, so need to wait for that day.

    Good luck with your interview.

If they live in the same area as you that is not surprising. However if they live in another area (and are served by a different local office) then taht is surprising.

N400 processing times are dependent on the local office whre the interview will be done. The Service center has little to do with it. If you live in Atlanta, GA it will take 3 months. If your local office is Orlando, FL then you can expect to wait two years.

The tracker is not much use. It doeasn't list the local office next to the entries - only the service center.

I am in West Palm Beach, had my fingerprints done on July 20th and and I doubt I will get an interview before April '06.

Although there is supposed to be a universal 6 month time frame for processing all applications, once again the BCIS is expected to fail miserably in acheiving it's goals.
