I got a traffic ticket for speeding in 2002( paid 140$). Do i need to mention this N-400 form.(item no16??)

Yes! Disclose of all citations etc. Then explain.

Paid fine $xx. Case Closed.

2. Do I need to get any documentation from the court to prove that I paid the fine or copy of the cleared check is sufficient?

no documentation needed. Its a minor case of citation. Just the month/year is Ok

For speeding tickets:

1) What if I don't really remember the month of the ticket (not even sure of the year!!)? Was a few years ago :/

2) Does a traffic ticket count as an "offense" ? Meaning, do I also need to answer "yes" to 17 and 18?

For 19 (alternative sentencing), does traffic school count? Do I need to answer yes as well there?
