  • Called USCIS 800 number - was given the following info

I am ready to file my naturalization application. I called USCIS 800 number; and aksed if I need to mention my traffic speeding ticket on the application form where it asks for if you have ever been cited? The rep said that we do NOT need to mention minor traffic violations like speeding tickets. I called twice spoke to 2 different reps and both of them told me that it is NOT needed to mention speeding tickets.
Why is everybody making a big deal out of speeding tickets then? I USCIS trained reps say clearly that we are not needed to mention them - should we not go by their advice?
Immihelp - can you please share your thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

When I asked the USCIS officer interviewing me for naturalization interview in past, she told me that you don't need to mention about the minor tickets (speeding, failing to stop etc.) but you need to mention about the bad ones like drunk driving etc.
