Hi guys,
Just completed the citizenship interview today and got cleared.
Officer Called my name and took me in to the room. It was a closedoor interview. Surprised to see the whole file starting from I-140 application. He gone through all documents. Asked several questions about what i have written in the application forms. wanted to make sure i am telling truth.
Point to be noted. Nevel LIE to the officer at the time of the interview. tell him what u have written in the applications.
He asked like how did u came to US, who petitioned your green card, what are u doing now for living, and he will go through the N-400 application from A to Z
After all this there will be reading,writing and US history questions test(everything 5 min)
He will take copies of your ID, green card and passports(remember to take old/cnacelled passports)
He will give letter which checks several check boxes and one of them is congratulations.
He will Escort you outside and say bye to go home.
I think getting Citizenship is one of the big achievenet in life after going through all these years.
I am glad me and my wife are done with this and good luck for others.
