  • Application with Children

My whole family is applying for US citizenship. I would like to ask the following questions:

    1. Should my wife and I file separate application forms?
    2. We have a child. Who should include our child in the application form? Likewise, should we also pay the $400 dollars for my daughther's citizenship application form? If we should, should we have two checks? One for $400 for my wife, and another check for $400 for my daughter?

    Your experience is highly appreciated.

You have to file a separate application for each individual and individual money orders or checks.

So a total of 3 applications and 3 money orders or checks.

      Tarok,

      1. Yes, you and your wife need to file separate forms.
      2. Your child becomes US Citizen automatically (if she is under 18), once you become US Citizen. You can file N-600 after becoming US Citizen.

      Good Luck
