Studying Full time while GC getting processed?

Hey hii

I am holding H1 and is currently working in US. My company also started the processed of my Green Card. But, now i am thinking of doing MBA full-time from one of the US universities.

So, my question is that what will happen to my Green Card processing in that case if i will take a break of 18-20 months approx from my job?
