Hi All,
Iam planning to apply for my citizenship.July 8th 2007 will be 5 years since I got my GC.I was in and out of the country in these 5 years.I was never out of the country for more than 6 months at any time.
The minimum requirement to my knowledge is one should stay 50% or more of the 5 years physically in US to be eligible for Applying.ie.technically one should have stayed 913 days or more physically in USA.
I will be having 857 Days physical stay in US by end of april 2007.And by July 7th if I continuosly stay in US,I will cross 913 days.
I was thinking of applying for citizenship in April 2007 as I will be eligible (4 yr 9Months).By the time I would get finger printing and interview it would be more than July 2007.
Would someone suggest me if I Should apply in April or after July 8th?
Appreciate if someone can help me on this.
