Cannot attend oath ceremony

Hi,

Did anyone have the experience of rescheduling the oath ceremony? I cannot attend the oath ceremony because I am out of the country and have sent back the USCIS letter and a letter of explanation. Do they reschedule promptly?

Normally they will tell you in the letter what to do if you can not attend your ceremony. Hopefully you followed thier directions. If they asked for explaination and you sent them one then you should be ok. I personaly didnt have to reschedule my oath so I can not say how soon they will schedule you again. It may depend on the area you live and how many ceremonies they process there.
