Why does it says " Initial Interview" on the notification letter.

"Request to appear for Initial interview"


Is it same for everyone or there are multiple phases of interview?

Normally there is only one interview when you file N-400. Second interviews are usually done only if USCIS suspects something with the application. I had a friend who had his second interview because on his first interview USCIS was not satisfied if his marriage was in good faith. I wouldnt worry about it if your case is straight forward. You can always ask the immigration officer during your interview for clarification.
