Fingerprinting date

Hi,
I sent my N400 on March 14 and I received I-797 withthe Notice date is March 30. I haven't heard anything back yet regarding the fingerprinting. Should I be expecting a letter from USCIS for an appointment for fingerprinting.

Which location is your office for processing N-400?

Actually I received the I-797C today with a fingerprinting date. But unfortunately we will be on vacation during that time. Can I just walk in for fingerprinting or do I have to have an appointment? The local office is in San jose.

Hi Sharath,
feel free to share the dates. it does not hurt at all. that way it will give a picture as to how much time it is taking from the receipt date etc.

This is just my thought. I dont know what happens if you miss the FP date. Please call them and get the details.

Need Suggestion

Hi,
My N 400 application was received by USCIS on April 30th 07.Check was cashed on 10th May.I haven't received the Initital Notice(File#) or Finger Printing Notice until now.

Is it usually so late?Do I need to call the infopass.Please advice.

I live in Pleasanton,Alameda County.In case if i need to call,Please let me know where I should call etc.
