receipt date,
Fingerprinting
interview
oath
passport issue.

now at what point of time does the name check happens? I understand this is the only studious and time consuming process correct.
How does anyone know that a name check is pending? Does it usually happen after the interview or before interview? And does it happen for every applicant or only for a few?
please share your thoughts.

happens for every1, after FP ---> interview. It can even continue beyond interview. never know.

I heard that some people are getting very quickly. The entire citizenship process is taking less than 6 months. They filed in the san jose office. Then how is that possible.
