I mailed N-400 applications for me and my wife (in the same "Priority Mail" envelope) two weeks ago to TSC. I have not received acknowledgement, yet. Neither are the checks cashed.

Is this normal? Should I prepare to re-send the application?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Any updates? Did they cash your checks yet? Where is TSC? I mailed mine to Mesquite TX 3 weeks ago and they still haven't cashed my check either and also no mailed receipts/acknowledgment?!

Just checked my bank and USCIS just cashed my check on 7/31/07. Sweet! Now lets let the waiting game continue...

At least now I know they have my application and they've cashed my check!

I haven't received an acknowledgement either. I sent my application to the California center on 7/12/07, which they received on 7/13, and got the check cashed in on 7/19/07.

Hang in there, they must be pretty swamped these days considering the large number of applications they got before the end of July fee increase.

If you can access the scanned copy of your check, you can read that off and get your receipt number and in a couple of days create a log-in for to check your case status.

USCIS has received 60% more naturalization applications this year and thus the process has delayed. Additionally since the retrogression was removed for all employment categories, several 100% green card applications were received and there is now a "front log" in the system for receipting and NOAs. This front log will likely move through the system in to FP scheduling and then FBI name check and to the interview itself so there will be a general slowing of the process. Blame the fee increase for the rush of applications this year!

I tried that, the scan is kind of blurry and faint so I tried to read the numbers the best as I could read them. Well, I jotted down a SSC* number and looked it up on the USCIS case online website and the number I had is the incorrect case? According to the USCIS website, the case number that I entered, the N400 application was received on June 17, 2007. Well, I didn't even mail my N400 application until July 6, 2007....so, I'm just going to wait until I get my receipt letter in the mail. I should be gettig it soon (in the next week or so hopefully) since now that my check had been cashed.
