  • N 400 -URGENT Affiliations Question

    Form N-400 (Rev.11/01/06) Y Page 7 Question - 8. a
Have you ever been a member of or associated with any organization, association, fund foundation, party, club, society or similar group in the United States or in any other place?

What is the response to this as it can include a Grocery club card as a "club membership"?

Any pointers will be highly appreciated

    Thanks

    Ha! You're kidding, right?

Ha! My friend, you're joking, right?

Grocery club is not a "club" and you don't have to worry about AAA too.

They mean serious associations like a political party or organizations of any nature, like a union member or a liberation movement organization or an immigration movement etc.

    Take it easy.

        Good question

Good question. If your college/university organization is a state or federal level recognized one, then you need to mention, if not it's okay.

For example, if you were the student body president at Princeton University, then you better write this down.

In such cases, if you have doubts, go ahead and mention, at least you're telling the truth.

        God luck.
