FBI Check - howlong...

I filed on june 6th/2006 for my citizenship (indian passport holder, employment based GC) and did finger printing in Aug 2006. My wife got the approval in Sept/2006.. I am still waiting.. they keep saying its under FBI check... Any idea or sugesstion what I should do?

There is really nothing you can do right now except for maybe file a lawsuit if it's been more than 120 days. For help, look at the thread at the top of the page. Anyone with lawsuits against USCIS. However you should start by asking your congressman for help. Just read the thread, it helps a lot. Some people, like me has been stuck for years.

I have the same problem, FBI name check still pending. I applies since Aug, last year. What threat are you talking to? on the top of the page? I did not see it? Please advise!
