  • Staple or paper clips - N 400 application

    All

I do not think we should be stapling the N 400 form, GC copies while mailing them to USCIS.

I assume that N 400/GC copies/Check/Photos can be "attached together" by a paper clip.

    Any other suggestions ?
    Thanks

You are right. I wouldn't staple them!. A paper clip should do the trick!

    Good luck!

Not disputing but I feel stapling is best.

      Hi Guys,

I'm not disputing the use of paper clips, but have always stapled all the documents right from my multiple H1's, H4's (wife's), GCs, U.S. Citizenship.

I've never had any problems and all my documents were always properly recovered.

I applied for my U.S. Passport where the USPS personnel herself stapled the U.S. Naturalization Certificate as well as the photographs.

I feel staple is best, unless the document clearly mentions not to do so. Paper clips have a possibility of slipping off.

      You be the judge.

Good luck for your early processing.
