Missed the fingerprint appointment. Please help!

Hi everyone

My friend missed his fingerprint appointment (he thought it was on the 28th when it was on the 23rd). Yes, he should have checked and been more careful about it.. But what can/should he do now?

Can he just go for a "walk-in" fingerprinting, I heard you could do that BEFORE your appointment but I'm not sure about after...

Should he send in the notice to try and reschedule it? Or is it he SOL and has to wait for the Notice of Intent to Deny and then try to repeal that (using what as his case, that he just forgot?)

Have your "friend" check his fingerprint notice. It clearly states that if he misses his appointment date, then feel free to walk in on any Wednesdays after the missed appointment date before the EXPIRATION DATE. The EXPIRATION DATE is listed very clear on the notice. No need to reschedule a date.

I know this thread is old. I missed my appointment on Friday before Labor day weekend. I looked around multiple threads but no recent posts regarding it. So, I am posting my experience.
I went to Santa Clara, CA office on Tuesday early morning and they added me to waiting list. Told me they will take me whenever a slot is available but it may take hour or more. I was done in 30 mins.
