I have applied for citizenship Feb 1st of 2007. Gave the finger prints on Feb 21st 2007. Nothing after that. Just was wondering if there are others at the same time from the same local office had got an interview notice. FYI, local offices are determined based on the zip code you live in. Mine is 20152.

Mine was at Vermont but I gave my finger printing at the Baltimore office....Mine was on Aug 25th but havent heard anything after that..
How did you get your gc? through work, or immigration? coz that veries...and also fingerprinting process takes time depending on # of states you lived in houses you moved in etc... -

While most of the Local Field Offices under the VSC show the processing time frame as 7 months for N400, the washington dc filed office shows a date of Dec 2006, Not sure if they are really behind or just didn't update the websiteComment

I have applied for GC through work. I have been in the same state since I am here in US.
FYI, I have called up the customer service few weeks back and they said washington DC is really slow.
Currently washington DC is showing Nov 19th, 2006 as the processing date.Comment

Applied in April 2007
I had applied for Citizenship in April 2007 and got my finger prints within two weeks but after that nothing. Don’t know what’s happening.Comment

Things are random and crazy @ Vermont.
I know of people who have applied for US citizenship to this center in February, March, April and have already got their naturalization certificates.

So, it means that they have started for April 07 now?
I had called them last week and the customer services person said that its still in Feb 2007.

Done with my interview on May 5th.
I attended the interview and got 6/10 correct. BTW, thats the passing mark. You should get 6/10 correct thats it. Got all. Got a form to attend the oath on May 19th.Comment

My husbands on the same day, but he does not even have his interview date yet.
All,
March processing dates for citizenship were Feb 14th, 2007. I got my interview letter and infact is done and approved. My husbands which also has the same receipt date, is in the same pending status. Also, the citizenship processing dates in April has been updated to Jan 11, 2007. I think there are lots of backlogs.

I just spoke to their Dept. person, she said at present they are processing N-400 still for Jan 2007.
Anyone knows different?
