I would like to ask a question which is about I confused too much.I wanted to talk to some attornies, but they want to charge before asking .. And I am not sure that they know the answer.
Here is my story ;
I got My greencard July, 2001. I went back to my country 13 months later (August 2002) . I came back to USA 10 months later (May 2003) . I Went back, then I came back again after 7 months (December 2003) . I went back , I came back again after 5.5 months (May 2004) . I went back to my country, and I came back to USA permanetly after 6 months later (November 2004). I am still here, and I will be here...
Here is the question:
When can I apply for citizenship? Actually I searched on Internet and forums, but I could not find exact and clear information. I saw that,If you stay outside more than a year, you should wait for +4 years. If you stay outside between 6-12 monts, what happens? Does it reset to 5 years? In my case, I stayed outside, 2 times more than 6 months and 2 times less than 6 months. Should I wait for 5 years after my last 7-month visit (december 2003) or , or what?
