Hello Sir, I Have 2 Question.

I Get Family Green Card In Jan 2003(so Come To Usa 1st Time In Jan 2003 As Immigrant And Get A Green Card)

Apply For 2 Yrs Re-entry In Feb 2003, Leave For India In Feb 2003

Re-entry Approved In August 2003 Get A Booklet, Booklet Says Permit Expires On August 28th 2005

Return Back To Usa On 12th July 2005 And Have Been In Usa Continiously Hence After.

Question1>is It True That After I Returning On July 12th 2005 I Only Need To Meet 4 Years And 1 Day For Citizenship.

Question2>4 Years And One Day Will Be Counted From July 12th 2005 Or The Day My Permit Expired That Is 28th August 2005.

Where do you get the 1 day time line? Do you get a special period for file than others?

You are eligible for Citizen ship on 12th July 2010, but you can apply 90 days before this date. That would be 13th of April 2010.

Did you apply after four years and one day or did you have to wait five years since your return?? When did you get your citizenship??
