Citizenship Interview

I applied for Citizenship on 11 june 07 and got FP on July 28th.
Still i did not get interview date for Citizenship.

Hi, try to give a call at the the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Most people call here for rescheduling of interview, you might get some info on your interview date here.

Unfortunately, the center does not have any info that you can not get on-line at the USCIS web-site. Be patient, it may be 3-4 months before you get the interview letter. If more than 6 months have passed, you may be stuck in name check, and honestly until that is clear, there is nothing anyone can do.

Interview

I applied for citizenship in april. FP done in may. I have got letter saying that my name is in line for to be scheduled for interview. It has been for about 2 months. I know intially my name was stuck for security check. they are saying that my Fp and securities checks are complteted now. but they do not have date and time availble for interview. I am not sure, how come they can not schedule for interview.
Please advice me regarding this.

There may be a gap right after the name check clears, because they have already scheduled others in the mean time, and they will have to squeeze you in. There is really nothing you can do, but it should not be too long, sit tight, it is good news that the name check is finished. You are almost there..

received letter

Thnks for your suggestions and information. I received the interview letter yesteraday. any idea if you have. I have received the letter saying the date and time for interview. but on the net, it is saying the case is pending. sholud I be thinking of anyhting wrong. but seems like things moving in the right direction. thank for your response.

Web not updated in time

The website is not updated in time. Follow the dates/timelines of your letter which carries more weight.

Do NOT worry about the web status.

You may actually have your US passport in your hands and the web will still show the case is in process!

Anybody know the link on net to get citizenship history tets questions.
There are new questions, I think 150 questions. Are they available on the net. I could not find it. thank for you help.
