Hi all. I am not doing job after getting card. Once i received unemployment benefit also. Does unemployment history matters while applying for Citizenship?

2. I have one more doubt. I got green card in August 2004. After getting green card and spending 30 months in US, if i take 2 years permission for being out side, can i apply for citizenship in August 2009?
