    It'll be postponed

It'll be postponed. Nothing else is effected. Though the delay period won't be in your control.

Though, unless you've got an emergency, don't do this. Get it done with, get your US passport and your visas for your home country as required.

    Good luck.

There is absolutely no problem in delaying Oath. In fact, I had my interview this week and I expressly asked my IO to postpone until next year, because I have a planned overseas visit. He said there is no problem. Scheduling is done by local office not the Service Center. He said, he is putting a note in my file, but if I do receive an earlier Oath, to just send a note back to the local office to reschedule it.
