Hello,

I applied for N-400 in May 2006. I was working with company A.
Then I changed my company to B. I got to know I am pregnant and now company B doesnot have pregnancy leave . So I will have to go on Temporary disability from State(NJ). I have my interview on Jan 30th.

My delivery is in feb and I would like to quit job and go on the disability ASAP. is it ok or is it a better idea to be working with the company B atleast till interview date?

Any HELP would be highly appreciated...

It is my understanding that citizenship application process has nothing to do with your employment status. Your status should not be affected even if youa re unemployed at the time of your interview.
