help: travel after citizenshp interview?

Hi,
I have a green card with me and have an citizenship interview scheduled on Jan. 22nd in Portland OR. I need to travel outside the US after that due to job. Does anyone know if they take the green card during the interview? How can I travel if they take my passport and/or green card away from me until I have oath? I'd appreciate if you have any experience you can share.
