We're in the middle of trying to get my wife's citizenship under 319a as the spouse of a U.S. citizen. This is box B under section 2 on the N-400.
She qualifies under 319a.
The adjudicator changed the N-400 form and marked Box A, basically changing the request to section 316. Due to an overseas work assignment .
He is completely disregarding the appropriate section of the law even though there own field guide, chapter 74, says they must consider it.
Can we ask to speak to someone else or get a different adjudicator?
