Need to Postpone Interview

Hello,

We got our interview letter for April 7th, but we will be travelling to India at that time. Can anyone share how long it takes for a new interview date to be scheduled by USCIS in Atlanta?

Bad Idea. Postpone your trip instead... it could take up to 3-6 months for it to be rescheduled.

not to be rude but the question should be what is more important the trip or the interview when many people are praying that their interview date comes soon.That's just my two cents so do what is more important to you then.

Postponing the trip us tough as airline tickets have already been bought and we have to be in India for a family function at that time.
